Meet the Creator: Nebiyah Bridges

I have always been a creator at heart. From high school sewing classes to discovering crochet, design has always been part of my life.

I once dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, but like many dreams, mine was paused by life’s challenges.

In 2013, something changed. I felt a strong creative calling to learn crochet. I started by watching videos, reading, practicing with simple materials, and slowly building my skills.

What began as a small interest turned into a passion and eventually, a business.

Over time, I created handmade hats and loc-friendly designs that reflected culture, beauty, and identity. That passion became Loc’d Nation.

Today, I continue to grow the brand with love, creativity, and purpose building something that represents more than fashion, but empowerment and expression.

This is only the beginning.
